Ethics of Artificial Intelligence

Auliq's ethical framework for developing and deploying artificial intelligence in its platforms.

Artificial intelligence is increasingly part of the software organizations rely on, and with that comes responsibility. This page sets out the ethical commitments that govern how Auliq designs, develops, and deploys AI capabilities across its platforms, alongside our published AI principles.

Beneficence and non-maleficence

AI in Auliq platforms exists to help people do their work better. We do not develop AI capabilities whose primary purpose is to harm, deceive, or manipulate, and we assess potential for harm before a capability ships.

Autonomy

The people and organizations using our software remain in charge. AI features are assistive by design: they propose, draft, and summarize, while consequential decisions stay with the human or the organization responsible for them.

Justice and fairness

We work to ensure AI capabilities treat people fairly and do not amplify bias or create unequal outcomes. That means testing for bias during development, monitoring after release, and correcting problems when we find them.

Explicability

Where AI output materially affects someone's work, it should be explainable in plain terms. We make it clear when someone is interacting with AI output, we document what our AI features do, and we avoid opaque uses of automated decision-making.

Privacy and data dignity

AI capabilities operate within the same privacy protections as everything else in our platforms. Customer data is not used to train foundation models, and AI features never create a side door around an organization's access controls.

Accountability

Auliq is accountable for the AI it ships. We name the teams responsible for AI capabilities, review them on a continuing basis, and act on findings, including retiring capabilities that cannot meet our standards.

Our commitment

This ethical framework applies to every AI capability we build or operate, and it evolves as technology, regulation, and expectations evolve. Questions are welcome at ai@mail.auliq.net.
